I am very interested in any old photographs or paintings of Bokharian Dervishes or sufis. Any color paintings of 1700 -1899 AD, of Bukhara also.
    Thank you for your response

    Hello,
an American friend of mine visited your city and the museum of the ark citadel.
He sent me a photo from inside with – as he thinks – three plumb bobs.
Please give me the email address of this museum, so I can send the photo as email attachment.
I have some questions about it.
    Thank you for your help

I would quite like to get in touch with M. Niyazova and/or B. Buranov with regards to a potential collaborative research project. If you would be so kind as to tell me how to reachout to them, I would be most appreciative!

    Best regards,
    Samantha Reiter

    Hello
I pleasured of Your museum from far by photos. My friend from Tajikistan sent them to me. In one case I think to ask you to talk with a cultural specialist from Iran or Iraq or the cultural department of the Iran embassy. There is a painting called Hz.Ali paint and that is not right. A man on horseback, Because that is a famous scene in our culture, I think remember you he is not Ai. He is Abbas, Hz Ali’s son that was in the Karbala war. In that scene, He takes an empty bag of water from the Prophet’s granddaughter Zainab and goes to fetch water for the besieged family of Hazrat Hussein in the desert. He has a hard time getting through the siege. It draws water from the river but refuses to drink water and is killed while bringing water to children.
    Thank you
